Our Sun System VI ballast uses our popular extruded aluminum housing and incorporates a new unique feature. The switchable ballast runs a metal halide 400 watt (either universal or super) or a high pressure sodium 400 watt lamp.
To change from one type of lamp to the other, merely insert the appropriate lamp and set the switch to the correct operating setting. This enables growers to bypass costly conversion lamps with less lumen output. It allows growers to utilize the proper spectrums for vegetable growth(metal halide) as well as flowering(high pressure sodium) with a simple to use switch.
