| | | | Description | | | | | | | Derived from ancient seabed deposits of pyrophyllitic clay and blended with fulvate Ore, Rare Earth provides a slow release of Silicon, Humates and 72 rare earth minerals. Blend with rooting media. top-dress around plant stem or add directly to nutrient solutions. Rare Earth elements develop a crystal matrix within growing plant tissue which protects the plant from heat stress and nutrient extremes by generating a protective Silicon shield. This also deters fungal disease and reduces susceptibility to insect damage by "hardening" the plant.
Rare Earth contains Pyrophyllitic Silicate Clay naturally derived from ancient seabed deposits of biologically transformed organic matter combined with Leonardite Humates. • Hundreds of University studies have proven Humates increase plant growth and yield. • Provides a naturally soluble form of silicates and Humates. • Supplies many naturally soluble occurring Rare Earth elements and minerals. • Enhances the root environment for improved plant development. • Increases the availability and uptake of plant nutrients. • Affords growers the benefits of natural organic humus and minerals in a highly available, soluble and easy to use form. • Meets guidelines for organic crop production.
Directions For Use
Add directly to nutrient solution for hydroponic growing systems:
Place Rare Earth into the included filter bag and submerge in the reservoir. Add 1 gram per liter (1 tsp per gal) of nutrient solution. Renew when nutrient is changed.
As an extract:
Prepare a "tea" (colloidal mineral extract) for use as a foliar spray or soil application. May be combined with fertilizers for improved plant nutrition. Add 8 grams per liter (1 oz per gal) of Rare Earth to hot water. Stir or re-circulate for 10 minutes. Let stand to allow the undissolved clay to settle to the bottom. Use tea every other watering.
Mix with hydroponic or conventional growing media, such as potting mixes, soil, coconut fiber (CocoTek™), clay pebbles (GroRox®), rockwool or Perlite. Blend at a rate of 15-30 grams per liter of media (2-4 oz per gal).
